The association Rewilding Sudoeste (RWSW) promotes the value of native forest and nature-based forestry through activities that inform and empower people in the South West of Portugal to protect and restore natural habitats.
Rewilding is to benefit from the natural potential of flora and fauna that typically exists in each place by helping it to restore itself.
Our Bee Rewilding project is a collaboration with Jack Golds from RWSW. We co-organise workshops and presentations, to inform people in the provinces of Aljezur, Monchique e Odemira how they can support bees and other insects through creating habitat and nesting opportunities on their lands and in their gardens.
