Let Them Bee
Natural Swarming and Transfer from Conventional Hive to Top Bar Hive
Let Them Bee
This video shows the magnificence of a swarm flowing out of her mother’s womb, a colony living in a Sun Hive.
After a day and a night clustered in a tree, the swarm settles in a “welcoming hive”: an old square box smelling of bees and citronella… very attractive for swarms.
Two weeks later, we transfer the young colony into her new home: a Top Bar Hive. We create a field of calm and trust for the transfer, which allows us to act without the need for protective suits.
Thanks to Lika and Annelieke for the music.
