With great joy, we announce the long-awaited German translation of Sandira’s book.
This has been a wonderful journey of co-creation with talented friends who generously offered their work free of charge. It truly was a hive effort, filled with love and care.
Journalist Elisa Gratias felt called to undertake the translation of the manuscript, the most demanding task of this endeavour. Her care, precision and creative spirit have brought this book to life in German. In sparkling conversations with our bee friends Silke Meyer, Marianne Tschuy, Thomas Gfeller and Johannes Wirz, we chose appropriate “bee language”, even invented some new words. Silke’s art heart and bee connection shine through in the beautiful poem translations. We also benefited greatly from Marianne’s bee knowledge and her meticulous proofreading.
