Summary
This book is a meeting point between ecology, art, science and philosophy. Its purpose is to connect worlds. Much of the information shared within these pages cannot, to this day, be found anywhere else. Throughout the book, through poetic and provocative messages, the collective consciousness of the honeybee invites humanity to allow its true nature to blossom.
Each chapter begins with an account of a personal experience from my years spent in the company of bees. Over the years, this unconventional contact, both physical and energetic, has expanded my perception of the world in surprising ways.
This is followed by a section of technical or theoretical explanations, in which I offer detailed teachings on different aspects of life within the hive. The text is interspersed with sections entitled “The Voice of the Bee”, in which the Deva of the Bees presents her world from an unusual perspective. Throughout the book, the reader is guided on an increasingly intimate journey into the heart of the hive and into the heart of themselves.
Author Biography
Born in Brittany, France, to a beekeeper mother, Sandira Belia has been immersed in the song of the bees since childhood. Trained in environmental studies and heritage conservation in France and Quebec, she worked for many years in environmental education as a teacher, facilitator and director. Her path gradually expanded beyond the visible world into the realms of energy, consciousness and the subtle art of communicating with nature.
In 2010, she settled in Portugal, where her relationship with the honeybee deepened into a profound spiritual apprenticeship. The bees became her allies and healers, accompanying her through a long illness and helping her find her way back to life and clarity.
She co-founded BeeWisdom, an international network devoted to fostering respectful, co-creative relationships with bees.
Today, as an intuition coach, she offers programmes that help sensitive souls develop their intuitive abilities and communication with nature.
